I loved the beachfront location. Comfortable loungers sat a few steps from the gentle waves. the garden had flowers and trees, a tranquil walk to the beach. the bed offered restful sleep.

The resort felt crowded. This occurred at times.

the seaside villas provided an amazing view only metres from the water. staff welcomed our request to change rooms to a seaside villa. massage operators are on the beach offering some of the best massages i've ever had. the beach sand and water is clean.

i experienced loud flapping noise under the bath on the first night. the noise started at 6:15 and made it impossible to continue sleeping. the situation was handled poorly and we did not receive an apology.

the staff met my request to change rooms. the reception was very helpful. the staff went out of their way to provide a birthday cake when i celebrated my birthday.

the hotel has a big pool and many beach chairs. private lounges have security monitoring. daily water bottles are provided. i thought exclusive access to the loungers was an awesome perk.

breakfast included many options. the hotel features bungalows and a hotel building. the area was beautiful with rich nature. i found it quite safe to leave belongings while swimming.

hot water was unavailable throughout my stay. staff advised letting the water run, but it did not work. the bathroom sink was blocked and drained slowly. resolution took over 24 hours. a lizard was in the room, and i had to call service for its removal.

the toilet seemed to have a constant leak and nobody fixed that . the paint on the ceiling peeled off constantly. there were too many stairs for me, i never imagined this resort could be so demanding for my old knees. i will need some heavy duty painkillers when i get home.

The resort's location IS prime. The beach is just steps away from the bungalows. The breakfast buffet featured a huge variety of options, including both Asian and European dishes. The beach bar provided a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices.

The air conditioning unit was quite noisy, which slightly affected sleep quality.
